COST Action LIFT Positive Animal Welfare Surveys
Positive animal welfare (PAW) goes beyond good health and the absence of suffering. But how can we assess it in practice? COST Action LIFT invites stakeholders involved in livestock farming and related sectors to share their views on potential indicators of PAW.
The anonymous surveys explore the feasibility, acceptability and perception of PAW indicators among farm managers, farmers’ associations, certification bodies, food processors, retailers, consumer associations, and veterinary authorities.
Farm managers can complete the surveys in several European and other languages, while surveys for other stakeholders are available in English.
